SEED

The SEED Programme aims to transform innovative ideas from students into sustainable businesses by providing practical business training, mentorship, incubation support, and financial guidance. The initiative forms part of the government’s broader youth empowerment and entrepreneurship agenda under NEIP. 

According to NEIP CEO Eric Adjei, the programme is expected to build a strong pipeline of young entrepreneurs who can contribute significantly to Ghana’s economic growth and job creation. He emphasized that investing in student entrepreneurs today will help create a more resilient and innovative economy in the future.

The SEED Programme will focus on students in universities, technical institutions, and colleges of education across Ghana. Participants are expected to receive:

•  Entrepreneurship training 
•  Mentorship and coaching 
•  Business development support 
•  Access to funding and investment networks 
•  Guidance on business registration and compliance 
•  Post-training support for business growth 

NEIP itself is a flagship initiative of the Government of Ghana aimed at supporting startups and small businesses through funding, incubation, and business advisory services to accelerate innovation and job creation.
